It was such a fun birthday for Luke! On Saturday we had some friends and family over for a bbq and of course ice cream cake. Luke was so happy to open his presents and wanted to play with all of them right away.
On Monday we had a small party with some of Luke's "friends". They had fun in the pool, sprinkler and playing bubbles. He was happy to see them.

He keeps telling me his birthday is "coming up" or is "soon". I hate to burst his bubble that it is over. So...I just agree. On his actual birthday his swimming class sang to him. He likes to sing along of course and has the song down pat. I am not sure how he will react to someone else's birthday from now on.
Today we went to the doctor for his 2 year old appointment. He weighs 29.8 lbs. and is 34 1/2 in. tall. The doctor said he speaks very well and has lots of words.
